I believe that everyone should be active for at least 30 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. I feel that if everyone were to do some type of activity for 30 minutes a day for at least 5 days a week they would feel better in their bodies and quite possibly eliminate many serious health related problems. If this were the case, the number of individuals afflicted with chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and many other types of degenerative disease would decrease. Activity alone is not the only mechanism through which people can increase their overall level of health. A balanced, nutritious, healthy diet plays a major role in the overall well-being of people and their general ability to maintain good health. I truly believe without having the balance of both diet and exercise in one's life, the chances of obtaining one or more of those chronic, debilitating, degenerative diseases is more likely to occur.
